Turned professional in Freeride Mountain Biking at the age of 19
From 2002 until 2005 – ranked No. 1 in the UK and became world No.1 in 2004

2006 adidas slope style finalist, 2nd Kona indoor dirt

2008 1st Qualifier Whitestyle, 1st Finland Levi Cool Runnings, adidas slope finalist
2009 1st ANTI ‘Days of Thunder’, 1st UK ‘King of Dirt’ London, 1st Qualifier Whitestyle, 6th overall

Grant has achieved many front cover shots in magazines globally and played a big part in getting the UK mountain bike dirt jump scene to where it is today. Now a member of the FMB World Tour Advisory Board, launched in March 2010.

My Heroes: Lance Armstrong, Steve Peat and good friend and riding buddy Steve Geall
What Drives Me: I love being under pressure and that gives me the drive to do well and push myself further
Likes: Riding for the Kona Clump world team, teaching the younger generation to ride, new fresh shoes, eating pasta

What makes me laugh?: My brother Ollie is identical to me so we laugh a lot together

Favourite Music: Oasis, The Verve, Newton Faulkner and some metal to fire me up before an event

How I got started?: I could ride before I could walk, my Dad sat me on a bike and just pushed me.
Closest Friend: My girlfriend Rosie, who knows me so well
What else?: I love fly fishing, I had a handicap of 6 in golf.
