50m Freestyle final at the World Championships. 18 August 2010

David Roberts won his third medal at the IPC World Swimming Championships on Tuesday 17 August, on a great night for British Swimming as the team won six Golds.

The Men’s 50m Freestyle was his third final on day three, the shortest event of his World Championships campaign.

GB team mate Matthew Walker took the victory in a time of 28.26 seconds and David Roberts finished third in 28.90 seconds just behind the American Lantz Lamback.

This followed another Bronze in the 4x100m Freestyle relay on Monday night, won by Australia who set a new World Record.

David will be racing in the 100m Freestyle on Thursday 19 August.
