Seven Stars have been named as the first athletes, this includes Tom Haffield.  05 Nov 2013

Commonwealth Games Wales and Swim Wales have today (5th November 2013) revealed their athletes who will compete in Glasgow.

The selected athletes are:

Jazmin Carlin from Swindon and trains in Swansea
Georgia Davies from Swansea and trains in Lougborough
Thomas Haffield from Neath and trains in Cardiff
Robert Holderness from Wrexham and trains in Millfield
Ieuan Lloyd from Penarth and trains in Cardiff
Marco Loughran from Guildford and trains in Guildford
Jemma Lowe, from Stockton trains in Bath.

At just 26 years old, Tom Haffield will compete in his third Commonwealth Games after making his debut in Melbourne 2006.  His senior swim career has also seen him reach the Beijing 2008 Olympic Games and the 2009 World Championships.
