Wales International makes guest appearance. 5 Feb 2010
Two days before the start of the Six Nations, Wales International John Yapp officially opened a new centre for Hearing Aid Solutions in Blackwood.
Hearing Aid Solutions was thrilled to invite John Yapp to support the store’s debut in South East Wales. Now back in full training and preparing to make his comeback for Cardiff Blues at the end of March, rugby fans were delighted to be able to meet the prop and had the opportunity to have their picture taken with John.
Martyn Scott, managing director of Hearing Aid Solutions, said: “It’s been a fantastic day! Branching out into South East Wales was an important step for us and it is something we have been looking to do for a long time. We are delighted now to have finally opened right in the centre of Blackwood and that is why we invited John Yapp to help us celebrate while everyone is in the Six Nations spirit.”
John Yapp said: “I am amazed at how small and stylish the hearing aids are now. I always thought they were large pink bits of plastic which people balanced in their ears! To find out that there are so many different styles available and you can now even have Bluetooth and MP3 features on them was a real eye opener.”
Hearing Aid Solutions is one of only 35 independent practices in the UK and the only one in Wales to have the honour of being recognised as a ‘Centre of Excellence’ for their quality services, whilst also being a member of the Association of Independent Hearing Healthcare Professionals (AIHHP).
