David Roberts has been named in a 30-strong team to represent Great Britain at the IPC Swimming World Championships in Eindhoven, Holland from 15 until 21 August.
The British Disability Swimming team, powered by British Gas, will take on the best swimmers in the world, two years before the Paralympic Games in London.
David Roberts is looking forward to competing at a major championship after several setbacks over the last six months. He secured his selection at the British International Disability Championships last weekend in Sheffield.
He said: “I am delighted to have the opportunity to defend my world titles, having endured such a trying period.
“I am always proud to have the honour to represent my country at the highest level.”
David won four titles at the last IPC Swimming World Championships in 2006.
