Journey begins to Commonwealth Games in October. 11 June 2010

The Welsh Athletics Championships take place at Cardiff International Sports Stadium on Saturday 12 and Sunday 13 June.

Dai Greene will compete on Saturday in the 400m after a great start to his summer campaign. He clocked a season’s best of 48.96 seconds in the 400m hurdles in Bydgoszcz, Poland last weekend. Matt Elias will also be racing over 400m. He now balances his training with a new job as Athletics Development Officer for Welsh Athletics.

Dan Lucker, who represented the Aviva GB & NI team a few weeks ago at the BT Paralympic World Cup in Manchester, will compete in the 200m, 400m, 800m and 1500m.
